Petra de Jong was born in Delft, The Netherlands and has traveled extensively to discover that Australia is the best place to be. She left for Brisbane in 1999 to study for a Bachelor of Leisure Management and has a resume that would suit the length of a toilet roll. Life truly started at forty with a partner, dogs, sheep and chickens. A move to a small rural property in Queensland created the ideal setting to write true stories and share 'tree change' experiences.
