Syed Raza Imam

Sir Syed Raza Imam (born Syed Raza Imam Rizvi Zangipuri, 25 November 2006), popularly known as "Khateeb e Muntazir" (Orator of the Awaited One) is an Indian Polymath, Shia Cleric, Orator, Philosopher, Author, Poet, Administrator, Academic, Educator, Institutional Founder, Spokesperson, Polyglot, Public Figure and Internet Personality. He is the founder and 1st Chancellor or simply Founding Chancellor of Imam University Zangipur- the World's First International Open Shia University, and founder of numbers of educational, religious, literary and administrative institutions. Raza Imam is known for his work spanning Islamic theology, philosophy, science, neuroscience, cosmology, literature, poetry, languages, education, administration and institutional design. He has authored and developed works addressing subjects including the intellectual heritage of the Ahl al-Bayt, Islamic philosophy, cosmology, neuroscience, technology, ethics and the relationship between Islamic thought and modern science. He is the founder of Imam University Zangipur, the Royal Society of Imams, Imam Productions Zangipur, the Imam International Board of Islamic Education (IBIE), the ICCZ, the Publications of Imam University Zangipur, the Al-Imam magazine, and the institutional framework of the Expert Assembly of Imam University Zangipur. He also designed the university's administrative offices, governance structure, honours system and representative offices. Early life and family Syed Raza Imam was born on 25 November 2006 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. His date of birth coincides with the establishment date associated with Imam University Zangipur and several of its affiliated institutions. He is the elder son of Syed Hasan Imam Zangipuri and Zakira Nishat Fatima Rizvi Zangipuri. He is a Prominent member of the Khandaan e Ustaad, a family associated with Islamic scholarship, philanthropy, religious preaching, literature and community leadership. His younger brother is Syed Jawad Imam Zangipuri, who subsequently became associated with the leadership and administration of Imam University Zangipur. Raza Imam grew up in Mumbai and became involved in religious speaking and public oratory at an early age. He delivered his first speech at approximately four and a half years (4.5) of age and subsequently developed a reputation as an Orator. Syed Raza Imam Zangipuri has pursued both academic and Islamic studies. He graduated in Finance from the University of Mumbai and is continuing his studies in additional fields. He has obtained more than twelve certificates and other educational qualifications from international universities and institutions, including programs associated with Harvard University. His studies and independent research extend across religious studies, philosophy, science, neuroscience, cosmology, literature, languages, education and other interdisciplinary subjects. He is known by the title Khateeb e Muntazir, meaning "Orator of the Awaited One", reflecting the emphasis of his religious oratory on Imam al-Mahdi and the doctrine of awaiting the reappearance of the Awaited Imam. Sir Syed Raza Imam Zangipuri is a Prominent Polymath because of his activities and writings across several distinct fields of knowledge. Sir Syed Raza Imam Zangipuri is also a polyglot and is known for his familiarity and ability to speak in multiple English accents and linguistic varieties, with works in Urdu, English, American English, British English, Hindi, Marathi and Bhojpuri. Sir Syed Raza Imam Zangipuri writes in English, Urdu and Roman Urdu.
