His academic journey began in Webster, NY, at Plank Road North Elementary, where he actively participated in sports and discovered his interest in engineering through engaging with Lego robotics. This early exposure to technical problem-solving ignited a passion that has driven his academic and career choices. Continuing his education at McQuaid Jesuit High School in Rochester, he embraced the school’s core values of leadership and service. He led the robotics team, achieving notable success by developing a climbing mechanism that greatly enhanced their competitive performances and earned them the prestigious "Excellence in Engineering" award. This project highlighted his technical capabilities, leadership, and teamwork skills. In high school, he also excelled in using the CNC mill, converting digital designs into tangible components, a skill that reinforced his interest in engineering. His proficiency with CAD software and work with various materials like aluminum and steel prepared him well for the challenges of a rigorous engineering curriculum. Outside of his technical pursuits, he was involved in the school’s stage crew, assisting in the production of various theatrical shows, which honed his organizational and project management skills. He also pursued sports and music, playing the violin, which provided a well-rounded educational experience. His dedication to community service is evident through his volunteer work.
