As the next to last of the rock journalists, I have interviewed over 100 rock stars during the course of my career, for 14 books and publications ranging from Rock Magazine to Viva Magazine, Playboy, Entertainment Weekly, After Dark, USA Today, Musician, the Gannett Westchester Newspapers and GUITAR for the Practicing Musician. Many of these articles have found their way online. The mission of this blog is to collect those articles and whichever others I can find in my files (I never throw out anything). In the meantime, in the same spirit of reincarnation, I'm reissuing some out of print books from my back catalog on Kindle. And my 15th book will be coming out this fall from Backbeat Books.
