out west

I have a poetry blog called Fresh Scribbles, where I write original poetry, and sometimes stories, and I also own TheArcaneSupply.com where I sell notebooks with designs on them that I make using clip art on Canva, WITHOUT AI. I love life and all: the writing, the dancing, my favorite waterbottle, fried eggs, William shakespeare, and my 94’ Sundance Duster named Meredith, but there is a difficult side. I was sexually abused at 8 years old, and didn’t know it was wrong until I was 19. I am now 25 and have only begun to figure out the whole thing. As a result, I developed Dissociative Identity Disorder or DID almost immedietly after, which means I have a system of people that I switch between, or alts that front, or co-front with me, the host, and I have the kind where I am aware that I switch. I get slight amnesia sometimes, and forget things or where I just put something, or where I just was. We have a huge collection of record vinyls, vintage clothes, and 100s of spotify playlists that we share together, there are about 300 or so of them, and our biggest way to communicate is verbally. Look it up for more info, I know its complicated. I didn’t know I had it until last year. We also love playing video games, my (Harmony, the hosts) personal favorites being Roblox, Minecraft, House Flipper 2, and Flash Games through the program Blue Maxima’s Flash Point. (my favorite roblox games are phantom forces, horrific housing, and restaurant tycoon 3) I Harmony, the host, give small objects and toys a personality, such as a tiny troll that I named Clyde, who is my writing buddy and goes with me everywhere in my pocket. I do this because I didn’t feel taken care of, and I like to set the record straight by taking care of everything that is smaller than me. This is usually a lot for me to deal with, and experiencing something as serious as CSA has led to literally every single area of my life being affected, and it has also led to like 4 other separate things that could be diagnosed. Such as severe depression, ptsd, the realization that I have autism, and misophonia. None of this stops me from living my best life, being with the love of my life, Matthew, and learning more about myself each day. Nice to meet you, check out my blog for more! -Harmony Vanderhyde, and her System
