I have extensive experience building new programs including regrant programs, creating and managing new processes and designing new positions. As executive director of the Asian American Arts Alliance, I rebranded the organization and oversaw its transformation from a local organization into a nationally prominent arts service organization. Today, the Alliance serves increasing numbers of Asian American artists and organizations under the leadership of the successor I recruited. I have been featured in the Chronicle of Philanthropy. I have been invited to speak at numerous local, state and national conferences and workshops on topics such as nonprofit management, philanthropy, diversity issues, policy matters and career development. I have also served on local, regional and national funding panels and has participated on various professional and community advisory boards and committees.
