HI! I am Jane (aka Tarzan) and I have things to say about life and death and politics and breast cancer. I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer in July 2012. I have had no Evidence of Disease (NED) since August 2013. I am peri-retiremental, quasi-single, and live and play in Colorado on the far western side of the Denver metro area. I have made many friends since my diagnosis, virtual friends on-line and real-life friends where I live. I have learned so much from so many people – survivors, not-survivors (so many, too many), caregivers, helpers, organizers, medical providers. I have also learned very tough lessons from a few others, unfortunately. I feel like - compared to 5 years ago – everything that was up is down, black is white, clockwise is counter clockwise. I am on a journey to find my new center, it will be interesting.
