1. Course: BA Film 2. Favorite book: Black by Ted Dekker This gives an interesting visualization of good vs. evil through the use of ficticious characters and combines real and fantasy worlds. 3. Favorite Movie: The Act of Killing by Joshua Oppenheimer I love documentaries and this one particularly because we see a change occur in the character throughout the course of the interviews. One of the most infamous killers of Indonesia explains his crimes and is sickened by his previous actions. The cinematography and colors are great as well. 4. Favorite Media Practitioner: Wong Kar Wai (director) His films are full of movement visually and story wise. He doesn't always use the conventional methods to tell his stories, but what he does focuses on emotions and feelings. And you can't watch one of his movies without identifying with and feeling deeply for what you see on screen. 5. Favorite song: Anna Sun by Walk the Moon This song was my anthem the first year of college. To me it's about uncertainty in youth but at the same time just going for what feels right and where your heart is. 6. Favorite internet site: www.theonion.com It's funny because it's a satirical news site that looks like it's legit but it's not. 7. Favorite meal: Pizza I love all kinds of food: American, Canadian, Mexican, Filipino, Chinese, Japanese, (maybe not Korean), but I have a soft spot for Italian pizza. The mixture of toppings is what draws me in the most as I enjoy mixing foods. And crust is never a bad thing. 8. Hobbies: photography, reading, learning
