Chief Executive Officer, Orlando Regional REALTOR Association
He/His/Him · Orlando, Florida, United States

Cliff Long from Orlando joined the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association in December 2017, with the responsibility of strengthening the organization to meet the needs of one of the fastest-growing regions in America. Since that time, he has guided the association, the eighth largest REALTOR® association in the country, through a period of expansion, financial stability, and stronger leadership in housing, advocacy, and regional issues. He has more than 20 years of experience serving as a chief executive in both nonprofit and for-profit environments. During his career, he has worked with several organizations to help them improve financial performance, build membership-based subsidiaries, and develop capital strategies. His leadership approach focuses on clear governance, steady planning, and supporting organizations during both challenging periods and times of opportunity. Cliff Long currently serves as the association's CEO, overseeing an operation with an annual budget exceeding $13 million. The organization includes nearly 40 staff members and consultants who support more than 20,000 real estate professionals. Its activities extend across education, professional standards, advocacy, international partnerships, and business development. When he assumed the CEO position, the association had approximately 14,500 members. During his leadership, membership grew to more than 20,000, marking the largest period of growth in its history. During COVID-19, the organization became the fastest-growing mega association in America, increasing membership by 11.5% in 2020. This growth was supported by stronger board engagement, clear strategic priorities, and staff goals that focused on measurable outcomes for members. One of the key achievements during his leadership was the purchase and relocation to a new 45,000-square-foot headquarters. Realtor Cliff Long from Orlando guided the financing, planning, and execution of the project. The facility also includes tenant-revenue space, which helps diversify income. It now serves as a central place for education, collaboration, and industry involvement throughout Central Florida. He also serves as President and CEO of the organization’s for-profit subsidiary, the Orlando Regional Real Estate Network, and as CEO of its foundation. Through these roles, he supports coordinated strategy across business operations, mission-focused programs, and community investment. Cliff Long from Orlando continues to focus on financial stability, responsible governance, and long-term service that supports both members and the communities they serve.
